There’s something unspeakably beautiful about an intimate elopement…but make that an intimate elopement at sunrise? Well that’s downright magical! Tucked away in Georgia’s urban capitol city is Pine Lake, a little slice of natural beauty surrounded by a thriving artists community. It was this beautiful landscape that provided the perfect backdrop for this Atlanta elopement inspiration- a little bit wild, a lotta bit lovely, and utterly bathed in golden light!
The thing I love most dearly about elopements is how beautifully they show a very important truth: you don’t need an elaborate, expensive wedding in order to have a beautiful celebration of your marriage. In this Atlanta elopement inspiration, a gorgeous backdrop, pretty pink dress, and a beautiful bouquet came together to show that a simple ceremony with those closest to you can be jawdroppingly gorgeous and full of pure romance!
As the sun peered over the horizon and began to trickle through the trees, our happy couple met under a ceremony arch covered in dogwood flowers and natural greenery branches. The bride’s peachy pink dress was just enough color to pop against the morning light, but still pastel enough to feel soft and feminine against the natural, and somewhat wild, landscape. The wind blew her curls, she cradled her bouquet of hellebores, dogwood, and roses as we traipsed around the lakeside, and all the while our groom covered her in doting glances of love and happiness.
