Jordan & Landon’s elegant military wedding is an ode to classic style and historic architecture! From her cascading bouquet filled with pinks and peaches to the sentimental heirlooms (both old and new) that they incorporated, theirs was a day with a timeless elegance woven throughout it. They planned an intimate and family-focused affair and chose Forrest Place, a beautiful venue on the historic main street of Jordan’s hometown for their day. The forecast thought to throw us a curveball with unpredictable rain and wind, but instead it gave us the opportunity to take advantage of the ample natural light and unique details hidden in the corners of their venue!
As they move into a completely new and exciting phase of their life (with a big move to a new Marine base in the near future) I couldn’t be happier for these sweet newlyweds!
Landon’s custom made wedding band was truly unique! The outer wood is repurposed from a WWII rifle stock and the interior wood is the same that they make purple hearts from. Melded together and then inlaid with a thin band of rose gold, it is such a meaningful piece for Landon to wear as a sign of their love.
Landon carried with him his own dog tags, as well as the dog tags of Jordan’s grandfather, who was also a Marine and a WW2 Veteran.
One of the things that often accompanies a military wedding is that they are often planned while the couple is apart. You could tell by their joy that these two couldn’t have been more excited to finally be together for this long awaited day!
