Kati & George were the epitome of simple Southern elegance (with some fun Texas tradition thrown in)! They gathered their dearest friends and family at the historic home and gardens of Oak Hill for their Berry College wedding. Every aspect of their day incorporated details reflecting their love of classic Southern style, like the custom venue illustration on their invitations, the watercolor chinoiserie seating cards, and the blue willow china table settings that had their guests entranced with the estate table! I particularly loved their outdoor ceremony in front of the historic home whose architecture is reminiscent of old Southern plantation houses! These two are truly the sweetest couple and I couldn’t be more excited for them as they embark on newlywed life and move to George’s home in the great state of Texas!
This black tie Southern wedding can also be seen on The White Wren and in Rome Life Magazine where it was featured.
Kati incorporated a Something Old and Something Borrowed in the form of her grandmother’s antique heirloom ring. Isn’t it lovely!?
Probably my favorite thing about their wedding day is how I would keep catching George giving Kati these loving glances. To say he adores her is such an understatement, and you can see it so clearly in his eyes and gentle smile.
Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in front of the house before walking down to the reception space for dinner. Their Topo Chico signature cocktails were incredibly popular and you could hear the laughter and joy in the air as everyone meandered down to the reception venue!
