This darling engagement around the North Campus of the University of Georgia will put the biggest smile on your face! Mary Claire and Philip are no strangers to the charm and tradition of historic Athens, GA and they knew they wanted it to play a part in the story of their engagement photos. White columned buildings, classic brick-bound gates, and tree-filled nooks were around every corner of this lush college campus. We eventually made our way over to my favorite location of this Founders Garden engagement and spent some time meandering the secret garden-esque pathways of the sunken garden. I couldn’t be more excited for these two’s Country Club wedding coming up later this year!
As we were walking through campus, Philip pointed out one of the buildings and asked for a photo in front of it. Turns out, it was the building he’d spent a lot of time in as a workstudy student in college! We did an entire series of portraits in front of the pretty white brick and blooming bushes of this little building and I love how they turned out AND contain a sentimental memory for them both.
To say I’m smitten with the next photo is an understatement! These two and their sweet giggles are my new favorite thing and I loved the sweet affection these two shared for each other.
